tiān cháng dì jiǔ.
天长地久。

shì yǐ shèng rén hòu qí shēn ér shēn xiān,
是以圣人后其身而身先，
wài qí shēn ér shēn cún.
外其身而身存。

不以其无私邪？

故能成其私。
解释
天长地久：形容时间很长，没有尽头。比喻爱情、友谊等永恒不变。
天地所以能长且久者，以其不自生，故能长生：天地之所以能够长久存在，是因为它不刻意去追求自我，所以才能永恒。
是以圣人后其身而身先，外其身而身存：所以圣人总是把自身放在后面，反而成就了自身；总是把自身放在外面，反而使自身得以长存。
不以其无私邪？故能成其私：难道不是因为圣人没有私心吗？正因为如此，反而成就了自己的私利。
